We have lots of special events going on from here on to the end of December, but as some of them, like the parades, are limited in their timeframes and not all our Smoky Mountain visitors will get to see them, we wanted to showcase some of the Christmas events going on around us that you can expect to see almost any time from now until the end of December!
* Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede
Now – December 31st, 2018

* Christmas at the Titanic
Now – December 31st, 2018
“During the winter months, the Titanic lights up the night with an amazing assortment of holiday light displays, towering Christmas trees and festive decor. Travel back in time and experience what it would have been like on the Titanic years and years ago during Christmas with holiday decorations from the Edwardian period.
Get souvenir photos taken of the kids with Santa’s real-live reindeer that are tethered near the entrance. And you may get another photo op if the timing is right as the kids share their wishes with Father Christmas.

* Winter Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales
Now – Each Weekend under December 22nd
“Through the holiday season, visitors can meet characters and storytellers and enjoy caroling along the Parkway Friday and Saturday evenings during this annual event!
Winter Magic Tunes & Tales will once again present strolling Christmas entertainment on the streets of Gatlinburg, beginning the Friday/Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 23-24 from 5:00-9:30 pm, followed by performances again on November 30 and December 1, 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22. Holiday music will fill the air with a sacred-secular mixture of Appalachia, Bluegrass, and Country. * Gatlinburg Trolley Tour of Lights
Now – January 26th, 2019
“Visitors can soak up the spirit of the season from the comfort of a Gatlinburg Trolley by taking the relaxing Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights.
The specially designated trolleys carry their guests on a memorable journey through downtown and adjacent Hwy. 321, allowing everyone to experience the magical wonder of Gatlinburg Winter Magic. Trolley times are at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30.
Featuring one-of-a-kind LED lighting displays along Gatlinburg’s famous downtown Parkway, adjacent River Road, and the triangle juncture of the two, the latest $1.6 million-plus rollout of custom designed and fabricated lighting displays are marked by sections reminiscent of winter forests, evergreens and romance.
